Still Running Through Pain — or Not Running at All?

Most runners don't quit because they're not tough enough. They quit because they're stuck in a system that treats symptoms instead of solving the real problem.

You've Tried the Generic Fix

Rest, ice, a sheet of exercises from a rushed appointment — and the pain keeps coming back. Cookie-cutter protocols don't account for how you move, train, or compete.

You're Getting Lost in the System

Insurance-driven PT means double-booked appointments, 20 minutes with a tech, and discharge before you're truly ready. You leave with less capacity than you had before the injury.

Your Goals Are Being Ignored

Traditional rehab aims for 'good enough.' But if your goal is to run a 5K, hit a marathon PR, or simply stay healthy for decades — good enough isn't enough. You need a provider who gets it.

Why Valparaiso Runners Choose BUILT PT

BUILT PT exists because runners and active adults in Northwest Indiana deserve better than a revolving door of aides and generic handouts. Dr. Natalie Roe built this practice on one principle: every patient deserves a full hour with the same Doctor of Physical Therapy, every single visit. Inside a real gym — with real equipment — we blend manual therapy, dry needling, evidence-based exercise prescription, and running assessment to get you back on the road stronger than you left it.

  • True 1-on-1 care: 60 minutes with Dr. Roe every visit — no aides, no double-booking, no shortcuts

  • Performance-first rehab in a real gym setting, so you rebuild strength, not just function

  • Indiana is a direct access state — no physician referral required to get started

"My path to Dr. Natalie Roe was a long, stressful, discouraging and expensive journey. I was ready to give up and live with chronic pain. I am beyond grateful to have had the opportunity to work with her on my healing process. This was like no other physical therapy I had ever experienced. Truly 1 on 1 with the doctor!"

"I would give 20 stars if I could! I started seeing Dr. Roe in July for a large herniated L5S1 disc that just was not getting better. I did 16 weeks of traditional PT. I really did not want surgery or an epidural and I had heard great things about BUILT so I reached out to them. I will forever be grateful to Dr. Roe. I have had 11 sessions and am so much stronger. I have my life back!"

"Beyond impressed. I came to Dr. Roe with ongoing back pain (about 4 months), thinking it was something I'd just have to live with. With her guidance, I'm now completely pain-free. She gave clear, easy-to-follow instructions and exercises for rehab, and they made all the difference. I went from side-stepping down the stairs to practically skipping down them!"

"As a middle-aged guy always chasing athletic goals, any injury could mean time away from the activities that bring meaning to my life. I've been working with Natalie for 3 months with the goal of bulletproofing my body. The change has been drastic, particularly in my feet, glutes, and mid/upper back. Anybody willing to put the work in will benefit greatly from her expertise."
